Help & Support

Can’t find what you’re looking for? Email us at support@useecho.net and we’ll get back to you.

How do I post to the bulletin board?

Open the board tab and tap the compose button. Your post is tied to your general area, not your exact location, and shows up for other nearby users under your guest username.

How does random matchmaking work?

Tap “Match” to join a voice or text queue. Echo pairs you with another available user; either person can end the chat at any time. Starting a match spends Echo Credits.

What are Echo Credits and how do I get more?

Credits are Echo’s in-app currency, spent on things like matchmaking, boosting a post, or starting a direct message. Earn them for free by watching a rewarded ad from the Wallet tab, by claiming your daily bonus, or purchase them directly. Credits have no cash value.

How do I report a post, message, or user?

Tap the “···” menu on any post, comment, or profile and choose Report. Pick the reason that fits and add a note if you can — our moderation team reviews every report.

How do I block someone?

From their profile, tap “···” and choose Block. Blocking is mutual — you’ll stop seeing each other’s posts, comments, and matchmaking, and won’t be able to message each other.

I got banned or suspended — what does that mean?

Bans and suspensions are applied when our moderation team finds a violation of the Terms of Service. If you think this was a mistake, contact support below with any details that might help us review it.

How do I delete my account?

Email us at the address below from the account you’d like removed (or with enough detail to identify it) and we’ll process your deletion request.

Is Echo really anonymous?

Echo doesn’t require your name, email, or phone number to use the app — you get a random guest username. We do collect coarse location and device data as described in our Privacy Policy to run the app.

Still stuck?

Reach out at support@useecho.net — include your guest username and a screenshot if you can, it helps us track down the issue faster. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
